The NCC, or National Cadet Corps, is a tri-services youth organization in India that includes the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis and aims to develop discipline, leadership, character, and a sense of patriotic duty among the youth.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is committed to fostering qualities such as leadership, unity, discipline, secularism, and integrity among Indian youth. Guided by its motto, “Unity and Discipline,” the organization plays a key role in nation-building.
At Swami Atmanand Govt English Medium Model College Jagdalpur, the Senior Division (SD) NCC unit functions under the authority of the 10CG (I) NCC COY JAGDALPUR. This unit was formed in 2025 and has since been actively contributing to the development of disciplined and responsible individuals. The college has one unit with the total strength of 70 cadets
