The Department of Science offers a comprehensive B.Sc. PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) program, strictly aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Our curriculum is designed to foster a deep understanding of fundamental scientific principles while encouraging interdisciplinary learning and research-oriented thinking. Under the NEP framework, the program provides students with Multiple Entry and Exit options, allowing for a Certificate after one year, a Diploma after two years, and a Bachelor’s Degree upon completion of the three-year course.
Beyond core subjects, the department emphasizes Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) and Value-Added Courses (VAC) to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Students benefit from well-equipped, modern Physics and Chemistry laboratories and a dedicated reference section for Mathematics. The program aims to prepare students for diverse career paths in research, academia, and various industries by focusing on continuous internal evaluation and project-based learning. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 (Intermediate) education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
